In keeping with the goal I made yesterday, it is day 2 of sharing my roses, thorns and toot toots. So here we go!
Rose: That I got to have coffee (and an incredible peanut butter cookie) with a great friend that I don’t get to see nearly enough of outside of work.
Thorn (with a silver lining): It was a quieter night at the restaurant so I didn’t make as much money as would be ideal. But it was only my 5th shift so having less customers was a good learning opportunity.
Toot Toot: I am proud that I am slowly getting the hang of serving and didn’t have to ask for help nearly as much as I have on past shifts.
